Here are today's freebie finds:

NASA Space Thrills Poster- You can print the poster or send a request via email for one to be mailed to you.

NASA Earth/Mars Comparison Poster- You can print the poster or request one by filling out the form.

NASA- There are a number of teaching aids available from NASA. Scroll down a bit to find teaching materials.

Firearm Safety Education Videos- Includes:

1. McGruff the Crime Dog on Gun Safety (grades K-6)
2. It's Your Call: Playing It Safe Around Guns (grades 6-9)
3. Firearms Safety Depends On You (general audience)

Teachers: A print discussion guide for the two school video programs is included in the DVD package.

Teaching Tolerance- There are a number of kits available that include videos and lessons. These are not available to individual homeschools, but are available to homeschool groups.

Save Our History- Teachers manuals. This looks like a great resource!

Home School Enrichment Magazine- Free sample. If you are a single parent homeschooling, they will give you a free subscription if you email and ask.

Women in Science Videos- They'll send several short videos profiling women in science fields.

Currency- Lesson plans, bookmarks, and posters available.

Educational DVDs- Izzit.org is a wonderful organization that gives away one free quality DVD to teachers (homeschools too!) each year. They have several you can choose from. We have received one each year for the past 2 years and they are high quality, engaging, and educational.
